Supervision

SUPERVISION FOR YOUR PRACTICE

If you are a trainee or newly qualified therapist, I can support you in preparing for private practice and all the elements needed to create a professional and ethical environment for you and your clients.  I will also provide you with tools and understanding to support you in maximising learning, business potential and a future pathway to building your hours and experience - leading to BACP accreditation. I offer concessionary rates for newly qualified or trainee therapists with limited income.

I also work with experienced therapists, aligning with their personal goals.  My aim here is to create an alliance within a motivational and creative space - to further support growth and learning; awareness; maintaining ethics and good practice.

Modalities and specialisms:

I work within the humanistic modalities - my background being transactional analysis, Gestalt therapy, person-centred therapy with additional specialisms in:

1.    Couple work and relationship therapy

2. NLP

3.    Short-term and solution-focussed work (including EAP)

4.    Schema therapy (identifying modes and schemas)

5.    ACOA (adult children of alcoholics/addicts), addictions, coping behaviours and self-harm

6. Understanding and implementing the BACP and NCS ethical frameworks

Ethics and On-Going CPD:

Supervision also provides a clear and open space to discuss ethics and learning on a regular basis. I work in line with the BACP Ethical Framework but some of my trainees work to NCS and I am conversant with both. Understanding the ethical responsibilities we hold as therapists is also an important part of supervision.

During the first session and via the registration process, we review your experience of supervision to date and what you would like to achieve going forward for your practice.

Please feel free to contact me and we can discuss your needs and future goals.
